We offer solar aerators in ¼hp, ⅓hp, ½hp, ¾hp, 1hp, 1.5hp and 3hp. They run off typical domestic size solar panels. Below is a rough gauge of the number of solar panels needed.
- ¼hp to ¾hp = 2 to 6 solar panels
- 1hp = 2 to 4 solar panels
- 1.5hp = 6 to 8 solar panels
- 3hp = 8 to 10 solar panels

E.g. 1,000m2 / 4,050 = ¼ acre
Most activity in a waterbody happens within a metre of two of the surface and on the bottom. This is where the organisms tend to live and where most aeration needs to be focused. So for ease, we focus on surface area more than volume when sizing up an aerator.
Hakko is likely to be the most affordable option in this setup if you have shallow water, less than 2m deep. If you have water deeper than 2m, Matala is likely to be the lowest cost option.
